Project Introduction：
The designed total capacity of Kunshan Huaqiao Sewage Treatment Plant is 125,000 m³/d, and the phase-I project with a scale of 62,500 m³/d has been put into operation, adopting the "AAO oxidation ditch + high-density sedimentation tank + V-type filter" sewage treatment process. With the continuous expansion of the Huaqiao Industrial Park and the increase of population, Huaqiao Sewage Treatment Plant has been operating in an overloaded state since July 2018, with high operation pressure and increasing costs. Therefore, it is urgent to carry out capacity expansion and renovation of the phase-I project. This project will be implemented within the phase-I sewage treatment plant, using RPIR technology for wastewater treatment to build a sewage treatment facility with a scale of 62,500 m³/d, and the effluent water quality meets the standard in the Discharge Standard of Main Water Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant & Key Industries of Taihu Area (DB32/1072-2018).
Project Highlights:
1. The vacant land of the existing sewage treatment plant is made full use to set up new RPIR sewage treatment facility, and the capacity is expanded by 62500 m³/d without adding new land;
2. The high standard discharge is required, and the effluent quality meets the standard in the Discharge Standard of Main Water Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant & Key Industries of Taihu Area.
