The design treatment scale of Baita sewage treatment plant phase-I project is 60,000m³/d, the design discharge standard is First Grade B, which is less than the actual average water inflow, and the water inflow is expected to increase to 85,000 m³/d in the long term (2030), so it is urgent to carry out expansion and upgrading of the plant. In order to realize the switching operation of the new expansion part and the existing treatment facility, a new set of treatment facility are added to this project, the treatment scale is 30,000 m³/d, the effluent quality follows the first grade A standard in the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002), and the treatment scale of the project phase-I after expansion reaches 90,000 m³/d.
Project Highlights:
1. The RPIR process occupies a small area, and the new biochemical pool covers an area of 2850 m² (it covers an area of about 0.095 m² per ton of water), and the vacant land saved provides convenience for the construction of other facility;
2. Newly constructed facilities and existing treatment facilities can switch operations to ensure uninterrupted water supply during the renovation of the plant area.
