On November 22, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China released the 2022 Catalogue for National Advanced Pollution Prevention Technologies (Water Pollution Prevention) (public draft), and our Company’s “Rapid Purification of sewage using sedimentation Integrated rectangular airlift loop Reactor (RPIR) sewage treatment technology” was successfully selected.

After pretreatment, the sewage enters the anaerobic tank to complete the release of phosphorus, and then enters the anoxic tank to carry out nitrogen removal by denitrification with the refluxed nitrification liquid, the effluent of the anoxic tank enters the rectangular airlift loop reactor to remove pollutants such as ammonia nitrogen, and the effluent of the reactor enters the advanced treatment unit to further remove SS and TP and then is discharged with standard level after disinfection.

The sludge produced by the system is dewatered and then transported out.

 

Influent COD is less than or equal to 400mg/L, BOD5 less than or equal to 200mg/L, SS less than or equal to 200mg/L, ammonia nitrogen less than or equal to 40mg/L, TN less than or equal to 50mg/L and TP less than or equal to 5mg/L, the effluent quality of the advanced treatment unit reaches the first grade A standard in the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002), of which COD, BOD5, ammonia nitrogen and TP can reach the class IV standard limit requirements in the Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water (GB 3838-2002).

The airlift circulation biochemical device of standard specification is adopted, efficiently intercepting the activated sludge in combination with biochemical sedimentation function and achieving efficient sewage treatment in combination with nitrogen and phosphorus removal process.

It is understood that the Catalogue for National Advanced Pollution Prevention Technologies is the catalogue for pollution prevention technologies that is introduced by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in close connection with the key and hot areas of environmental pollution control and is proved to be advanced in technical level, obvious in environmental benefits and economically feasible through the engineering practice. A total of 38 technologies are published in this catalogue, including 19 demonstration technologies and 19 promotion technologies, involving the treatment and recycling technology of pollutants such as urban and rural domestic sewage, wastewater from industrial enterprises and parks, livestock and poultry breeding wastewater, and landfill leachate.
 
RPIR technology has been developed for 18 years. With the characteristics of “low investment, low cost, less land occupancy, high efficiency, simple management, superior excellent quality, etc., it has provided many good solutions for the industry. The process packages built by RPIR technology have flourished everywhere in the fields of new construction, upgrading and expansion of municipal sewage treatment plants, sewage inception and source control of black and odorous water body, and rural sewage treatment, and related cases are distributed in nearly 20 provinces across the country, with a total daily treatment capacity of nearly 2 million tons. In recent years, the application boundary of RPIR technology has been continuously broadened. It has made breakthroughs in regulation and storage + on-site linkage treatment facilities, transformation of sedimentation tank into biochemical pool, and construction of underground sewage plants, bursting out with strong vitality.
Previously, RPIR technology has been selected into the Catalogue for the Guidance of Water Pollution Prevention and Control Technology of Shenzhen and Catalogue for the Guidance of Water Pollution Prevention and Control Technology of Guangdong Province. This time, it was selected into the Catalogue for National Advanced Pollution Prevention Technologies, which is the highly recognized at the national level and affirms insistence of Qingyan Environmental on innovative research and development achievements.
